Vimarsh measures how AI answer engines talk about your business. That's a genuinely different kind of measurement than traditional analytics, and we think it's worth being explicit about what our numbers do and don't mean.
What Vimarsh does
- Sends real search-style queries to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
- Records exactly what each system said, including the mention, recommendation, sentiment, and any citation it gave.
- Compares those responses against your named competitors, using the same queries.
- Summarizes this into trend-trackable scores, so you can see whether your AI visibility is improving.
What Vimarsh does not claim
- Not objective truth. An AI response reflects what that system generated at that moment -- not a verified fact about your business or your market.
- Not deterministic. The same query asked twice can produce different answers. We sample repeatedly and report patterns, not a single "correct" answer.
- Not a universal ranking. AI Visibility Score reflects the specific queries, providers, and time window we measured — it is not a certified or standardized industry ranking.
- Not a guarantee of accuracy. If an AI system says something incorrect or unflattering about your business, that reflects the AI provider's output, not a claim we are independently verifying or endorsing.
Every number has evidence behind it
Every score you see in Vimarsh links back to the actual AI response that produced it. We never generate a recommendation or score with an AI model that isn't traceable to a real, storable, provider response -- our extraction pipeline (turning raw text into mentions/sentiment/citations) uses deterministic parsing where possible, falling back to a second AI pass only when necessary, and always flags which method produced a given number.
