Search Console

Connects Google Search Console and shows which real-world search queries you already rank for that AI engines never mention you for.

What it does

OAuth-connects a Google Search Console property, then a manual sync (on a cooldown, covering a recent trailing window) pulls real query-level data: clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position.

Each real query is cross-referenced against Vimarsh's own recorded AI answers and labeled 'AI ignores this' (real search demand exists, AI never mentioned the business for that exact query text), 'AI aware', or 'Not measured by Vimarsh yet'. A query only counts as a genuine gap if Vimarsh actually dispatched that exact phrasing to an AI engine -- most real Search Console queries are user phrasings never sent verbatim, and correctly show 'Not measured' rather than a false gap.

A Suggested Fixes panel lists up to 10 actionable items for queries flagged as real gaps.

How to use it

  1. 1Click 'Connect Search Console' and sign in with the Google account that has access to the property.
  2. 2Click 'Sync now' to pull recent query data.
  3. 3Review the summary counts (queries with demand / AI ignores / AI aware / not measured).
  4. 4Scan the table for per-query AI status with linked evidence, and check Suggested Fixes for actionable items.

Known limits

  • The page itself states Search Console access is currently in beta -- it only works for Google accounts explicitly added as test users while Google reviews Vimarsh's verification, and shows an 'unverified app' warning during connection. This is a real, current platform-access limitation stated directly in the product, not a guess.
