What it does
AI Traffic Intelligence has two parts: an install flow (create a tracking site for your domain, copy a one-line snippet onto your own site, verify you own the domain) and a dashboard that reads the resulting data once real traffic starts landing.
Once installed, every page load on your site sends a beacon that's classified by referrer: a known AI platform (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) or 'direct/other'. These are the OBSERVED numbers -- total visits, a trend vs. the prior week, a breakdown by AI source, your top pages overall, and specifically the pages AI platforms send the most traffic to.
A second, clearly visually separate section shows INFERRED AI-attributed traffic: for pages where Vimarsh's own AI-citation monitoring found your page cited by an AI engine, it compares your site's own traffic to that page in the 14 days before vs. after the citation, and reports an estimated uplift with an explicit 95% confidence range -- never a bare number, and never blended with the observed tier (the two track structurally different, non-overlapping referrer signals, so a visit can never be counted in both). This is a correlation from your own site's history, not a controlled experiment, and the UI labels it as such.
A conversion-events feature exists via a JS call (window.vimarshTrack('eventname')) a customer can add to their own site for things like signup-form submits, shown in its own panel once any are configured.
Install status moves through four states: pending (not yet verified) -> verifying (in progress) -> verified, waiting for traffic -> connected (verified AND real events have actually landed -- domain ownership alone is never enough to call it 'connected').
How to use it
- 1Click to create a tracking site for your business's domain -- this generates a one-time site key shown exactly once; copy it immediately, it can't be retrieved again later.
- 2Paste the generated <script> snippet before </body> on every page of your own site.
- 3Click 'Verify Website' -- this checks a well-known file on your domain to confirm you actually own it.
- 4Once verified, visit your own site for real (or wait for real visitors) -- the dashboard appears automatically once the install state reaches 'connected'.
